DBS Culinary Delights x ARTable 2026: Where Fine Dining Meets Artistic Legacy
In late March 2026, during the vibrant Hong Kong Art Month, DBS Private Bank once again partnered with Tatler Hong Kong to present the second edition of ARTable — an immersive evening that masterfully blended world-class gastronomy, contemporary art, and cultural dialogue under the theme “Elevating the Art of Sensation.”

Held at the sophisticated Cloud 39 at The Henderson, the event invited guests to experience wealth not merely as financial success, but as a richer tapestry of culture, creativity, and lasting legacy. The evening opened with thoughtful conversations, including a compelling dialogue between DBS North Asia CEO Sebastian Paredes and multifaceted artist-actress Karena Lam, exploring how art appreciation evolves into meaningful legacy planning.
A highlight of the afternoon was the exclusive exhibition Dialogue Beyond The Senses, presented in collaboration with Christie’s Hong Kong. Attendees enjoyed private access to striking contemporary works by global icons such as Yayoi Kusama, Hilary Pecis, and Fernando Botero, setting a refined artistic tone for the night ahead.

The culinary centerpiece was a collaborative menu titled “Essence of Gold”, inspired by the signature gold of DBS Wealth Management — symbolizing purity, refinement, and quiet brilliance. Two standout chefs from Netflix’s Culinary Class Wars Season 2, Jun Lee of Soigné and Nara Yun of Yunjudang, made their highly anticipated Hong Kong debut. Together they crafted an elegant fusion menu featuring:
-
Delicate abalone dumplings with gim sauce
-
Makgeolli-poached pork belly seared to a golden crisp
-
Mushroom steak finished with vibrant seasonal Korean namul
-
Cabbage jeon with soy-marinated chili
-
A graceful finish of pumpkin baekseolgi paired with moju syrup and ice cream, alongside hondonju
Each dish reflected the chefs’ philosophy: gold as the moment when flavors achieve perfect clarity, balance, and depth — something felt as much as seen.
The evening culminated in a mesmerizing performance by the Hong Kong Ballet, presenting two contemporary pieces with costumes designed by the sustainable local label Mountain Yam, adding movement and emotion to the multi-sensory experience.
As Sebastian Paredes noted, ARTable is more than an exclusive dining event — it’s a platform where gastronomy, art, and personal expression converge, encouraging clients to explore new perspectives on taste, style, and what true wealth really means.
By weaving together culinary innovation, visual art, and performance, the second edition of DBS Culinary Delights—ARTable successfully elevated sensory pleasure into something far more profound: a celebration of culture and legacy in perfect harmony.
